Guttormsen Third in Strong Pole Vault Field

Simen Guttormsen finished third in a competitive pole vault field at the Paavo Nurmi Games in Finland, clearing 5.60 meters. He was only beaten by Emmanouil Karalis (5.82m) and KC Lightfoot (6.00m). afsport.lat

In the women's pole vault, Lene Retzius and Kitty Friele Faye finished fifth and sixth respectively, both clearing 4.40m. New Zealand's Imogen Ayris won the women's event with a 4.81m clearance.
